Meretto will be releasing "A Method of Urban Survival" from the latest album and a new track "Radio AM" on the 1st February 2010. These tracks will be available at all good download sites. The release of these tracks will coincide with a gig at Upstairs @ The Garage in Highbury on Saturday 30th January 2010.

Street Talking, Meretto’s latest album released on the 16th November 2009, is brimming with an exciting blend of Indie, Rock and Experimental sounds combined with street-wise swagger and dewy eyed optimism, and has been mixed by Dan Swift, renowned for working with the likes of Snow Patrol, Biffy Clyro, Art Brut and Aqualung to name a few. Tracks such as the recently released 'Devotion' and 'A Kiss' exhibit the uplifting side to the album which is then complimented by the passionate, energetic drum playing and original guitar riffs. 'A Method of Urban Survival' showcases the darker side to the album and the band's experimentation with vocals. 'Back to Me' brings the album to a perfect end as it slows the pace down but doesn’t lose an ounce of passion. The tinge of electronic sounds helps to build up the momentum before the vocalist declares “You’ll be back to me” aided with confident, powerful chords.

There will be a release party on the 21st November 2009 at the Cavendish Arms in Stockwell, London.

Meretto will be playing the Monto Water Rats on the 23rd September 2009. More UK dates will be announced shortly. The next single 'Devotion' will be released on the 14th September 2009 with the album 'Street Talking' following shortly in November 2009. The tracks will be available from all good download sites initially.

Dan Swift (who has worked with Art Brut, Aqualung, Biffy Clyro, Futureheads, Snow Patrol and many others) will be mixing the next album. "Tales of Urban Survival" is due for relaease at the begining of July 2009 and will feature the singles "A Kiss" and "A Method of Urban Survival".

The brand new single "A Method of Urban Survival" from the forthcoming album will be released on the 30th March 2009. You can get it from all good digital outlets, including iTunes, Amazon, Napster and e-Music Meretto will also be playing a series of gigs over the coming months to support the release (see gig pages for details). The new single "A Kiss" will be released on the 9th February 2009. This will be available for download from rockpoprecords.co.uk and all other good outlets. In the meantime the track can also be previewed on MySpace and last.fm, and will be the lead single for the forthcoming album "Tales of Urban Survival" due for release in March.

Simon Hanhart has agreed to mix some of the Meretto tracks for the forthcoming album. The tracks will be released as double-A sided single as fore-runner to the album, with an album release in November 2008. The tracks are sounding very classy indeed, and Meretto cannot wait to release them! Check Meretto out at thier forthcoming gigs (see gigs page).
